Carob Wood Bell Earrings

Carob wood is a hardwood native to the eastern Mediterranean, also known as locust bean. It is cultivated for its edible pods, and as an ornamental tree in gardens but it is mostly found in the wild. It is prized all around the world for its durability and color as you can usually find red, rust, pink and orange colors in it. The tree is widely used for its edible pods so it is rare to find it as lumber.

The earrings and their design are made by us in our workshop in the island of Crete/ Greece with scrap pieces of wood we gathered through the years.
