Handcrafted Excellence from Archanes

We produce olive wood products according to the traditions of Cretan woodworking. Every piece we produce has our full attention, while our main focus is to allow every piece of timber to guide the final design. The knots, grain patterns, cracks, and colour variations is what we use to make every piece unique.

Whenever possible, we give local timber a second life by working with olive trees that have reached the end of their productive cycle, carefully selected that would otherwise become firewood. Through careful seasoning—a process that can take up to three years—we allow the wood to stabilise naturally before it reaches the lathe, ensuring exceptional durability and lasting beauty.

We create handcrafted wooden bowls, , sculptures, spinning tops, home décor, and bespoke commissions that celebrate the beauty of natural materials. Finished with food-safe oils and crafted to be used rather than hidden away, each piece carries the story of the tree it came from and the hands that shaped it in our workshop in Archanes, Crete.

Yes. Every piece is handcrafted in our workshop in Crete using traditional woodworking techniques. Because each item is made by hand, slight variations in grain, colour, and shape are part of what makes every creation unique.

What types of wood do you use?

Most of our creations are made from sustainably sourced Greek olive wood, celebrated for its rich grain, durability, and natural beauty. Depending on the design, we may also work with other carefully selected hardwoods to achieve the desired appearance and functionality.

Will my item look exactly like the product photos?

No. Wood is a natural material, so every piece has its own unique grain patterns, knots, and colour variations. While your item will closely match the design shown, no two handmade pieces are ever identical.

How long does it take to make my order?

Most of our products are made to order. Production times vary depending on the item and current workshop schedule, but estimated delivery dates are shown on each product page before purchase.

Do you ship your wooden art worldwide?

Yes, we ship from our workshop in Crete to collectors across Europe, the USA, and globally. We use professional crating to ensure your pieces arrive in perfect condition.

How do I care for my olive wood items?

Are your products made from sustainably sourced wood?

Yes. We carefully source our wood from responsible suppliers, and our olive wood comes from trees that have naturally reached the end of their productive life or from routine pruning, giving this beautiful material a second life.
