Green square Olive oil bottle with unique handmade olive wood lid ORIGINAL design by Josef Woodturner. The olive wood has been collected locally from Crete island in Greece. It is a hard, strong wood with rich color that is prized all around the world for its appearance. It usually has many curly grains with a contrast of colors from beige to golden brown and to dark brown. The grain from piece to piece can be completely different but we always choose the most beautiful ones.
Green bottles are ideal for olive oil storage as the dark-colored glass prevents olive oil from chlorophyll oxidation. This is why we chose to make this bottle and use dark green glass, as it is eco-friendly, protects oil from sunlight and is healthy for you.
The bottle can also be used for vinegar so you can have a beautiful set of olive oil and vinegar cruets.
