This a handmade artistic decorative vase with a modern touch. We named it “two islands” as we used local wood from two islands located in different continents! In particular, it is a combination of Olive wood from Crete island, Greece and Coconut tree wood from the island of Sri Lanka! This combination, is not easy to be found and makes it a unique wooden home decor! The base of the vase is made of the Olive wood and the finial made of the coconut.
Initially, we used this wood combination because we wanted to have those contrasting horizontal and vertical lines. The vase has only a small hole, it is not hollowed completely.
The height of the vase is approximately 27,5 cm (10.8 inches) and its diameter is 13 cm (5.2 inches) and it is finished with extra virgin olive oil.
For shipping we try to be as environmentally friendly as we can. The item will be packaged in a sustainably sourced box, using wood shavings from the lathe as a cushion for safe transport.
It is advised that the vase is kept out of direct sunlight, and away from heat sources and water. This will ensure longevity of the product.
Artistic objects can not be returned or exchanged.
