From Blueprints
to Wood Grain.

We used to design cities and structures. Today, we dedicate our engineering precision to the most complex structure of all: the soul of Cretan Olive wood.

The Engineering Edge

Josef studied Civil Engineering; Olga specialized in Urban Planning. This technical background isn't left behind—it's what makes our workshop unique. We don't just "turn" wood; we analyze the physics of the cut, the structural integrity of the piece, and the geometry of the grain before the first shaving falls.

LOCAL_ROOTS

Wood with a Second Life

Based in the historic village of Archanes, we source our timber locally. Many of our pieces come from trees destined to be firewood or logs saved from local forest fires. We see beauty where others see scrap, rescuing the history of Crete one bowl at a time.

"Every piece tells a 500-year story of the Cretan sun."

Reviving a Lost Art

Since 2016, our mission has been simple: to revive the traditional craft of woodturning and share it with the world. Whether it's through a custom architectural project or teaching a newcomer their first cut, we live for the smile that appears when someone touches a finished piece of wood for the first time.

    BEYOND THE WORKSHOP

Our next masterpiece isn't made of wood.

We believe woodturning is a life of immersion. We are drafting the plans for The Archanes Residence: a dedicated space where students can live, breathe, and create within our village walls.

    Join the Vision

"We want to turn Archanes into space for artisans. Help us build a home for the craft."
