We used to design cities and structures. Today, we dedicate our creativity to our Workshop designing structures in Cretan Olive wood.
The Cretan Swap
Josef studied Civil Engineering; Olga specialized in Urban Planning. We left the planning of big cities to move into the slow pace of a Cretan Village, to quiet the noise of the cities and explore our creativity.
Wood with a Second Life
Based in the historic village of Archanes, we source our timber locally. Many of our pieces come from trees destined to be firewood or logs saved from local forest fires. We see beauty where others see scrap, rescuing the history of Crete one bowl at a time.

Reviving a Lost Art
Since 2020, our mission has been simple: to revive the traditional craft of woodturning and share it with the world. Whether it's through a custom project or teaching a newcomer their first cut, we live for the smile that appears when someone touches a finished piece of wood for the first time.
