What to bring?
A little preparation helps you get the most from your workshop. Here's everything you need to know before arriving.
Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing, avoid loose clothes, that you don’t mind getting a little dusty, along with closed-toe shoes. We provide all woodworking tools, safety equipment and materials.
Workshop Location
The workshop is located in the historic village of Archanes, just a short drive from Heraklion. Free parking is available nearby.
Languages
Instruction is available in English and Greek.
Group Size
Sessions are intentionally kept small to provide plenty of individual guidance and time at the lathe.

Should I book before travelling to Crete?
Yes. Workshop places are intentionally limited to ensure personal instruction, so we recommend reserving your preferred date before arriving in Crete, particularly during the spring and summer season.
How do I reserve my workshop?
Simply select your preferred date and complete your booking online. Once we receive your reservation, we’ll contact you to confirm the details and ensure everything is ready for your visit.
Can I reschedule my workshop?
Yes. If your travel plans change, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to arrange another available date, subject to workshop availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7 days in advance and are generally eligible for a refund according to our booking policy. If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please contact us as early as possible so we can discuss the available options. After this deadline it is not possible to offer a refund as we move our work to make space for our students.
What happens if the workshop cannot take place?
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, you’ll be offered the choice of rescheduling your session or receiving a full refund.
Can I book a private workshop?
Yes. Private sessions are available for individuals, couples, families or small groups. If you’re looking for a personalised experience or celebrating a special occasion, simply get in touch before booking.
